Locality names and boundary maps
Local councils determine locality names and boundaries within their municipalities in accordance with the Naming rules for places in Victoria, Statutory requirements for naming roads, features and localities – 2016. Maps indicating the official boundaries of each locality in Victoria are produced for each municipal area and provided below.

Local councils proposing a locality boundary change can submit their proposals through the Notification and Editing Service (NES).
