A title search shows the information held in the Victorian Register of land at the time the search is made. This includes registered proprietors’ names and addresses, mortgage details and information about other encumbrances affecting the land.
A title search contains a link to a diagram of the land. It is also possible to get copies of registered or recorded documents.
There are alert services which can let you know when something happens on a title.
