VC109: Changes to bushfire planning provisions
Amendment VC109 introduced changes to the Victoria Planning Provisions and all planning schemes on 31 July 2014. These changes implement reforms to bushfire planning provisions announced by the Minister for Planning in May 2014. Amendment VC109 supports community resilience to bushfire, makes it easier for landowners to prepare a planning application and for councils to assess a planning application under the Bushfire Management Overlay.
