  • Find your local council is a database containing demographic information on each council in Victoria as well as contact information, links to websites and performance information.
  • Council community satisfaction surveys measure what the community thinks about their council's advocacy efforts, customer service, consultation on key issues and overall performance.
  • Sector reports provide up-to-date analysis about councils in Victoria.

About the performance reporting framework

The Victorian Government has developed a performance reporting framework to ensure that all councils are measuring and reporting on their performance in a consistent way. The framework became mandatory from 1 July 2014 and all councils reported results as part of their 2014-15 annual report at the end of September 2015. To find out more about the project, visit the performance reporting framework page.
