CityLink Tulla Widening

The CityLink Tulla Widening project involves adding lanes and other measures to improve the flow of traffic across the 19 kilometre section of freeway from the CityLink tunnels to Melrose Drive on Tullamarine Freeway.

Avalon Airport Rail Link preferred alignment announced

In September 2014, a preferred alignment was announced for the Avalon Airport Rail Link. Avalon Airport Rail Link will connect the existing Melbourne to Geelong rail line with Avalon Airport. The preferred alignment will run from a point between Lara and Little River stations to the airport passenger terminal.

North Melbourne’s ‘The Huddle’ tops 2014 Community Sport and Recreation Awards

State and local governments sign new agreement

The new Victorian State-Local Government Agreement has been signed by Premier Denis Napthine, Local Government Minister Tim Bull and Cr Bill McArthur President of the Municipal Association of Victoria representing the sector.
